Acceptable use policy
PulserNode holds a key to production systems. This is the short list of things that would make that unsafe.
1. The principle
PulserNode holds an API key that can read and change production systems. That is a lot of trust, and this policy exists to keep it worth extending. The rule underneath every clause below is the same: use PulserNode on systems you are responsible for, in ways you would be comfortable explaining to their owner.
2. Instances you connect
- Connect only n8n instances you own or are authorized to administer.
- Do not connect an instance in a way that breaches an agreement you have with your employer, client, or hosting provider.
- Do not use a connection to reach systems that are not yours, including by pointing a base URL at somebody else's network.
3. Prohibited uses
Do not use PulserNode, or workflows you operate through it, to:
- Break the law, or help someone else break it.
- Attack, probe, scan, scrape, or overload any system, including ours, yours, and third parties'.
- Send spam, run phishing campaigns, or distribute malware.
- Process data you have no right to process, including personal data collected without a lawful basis.
- Escape your workspace boundary, or attempt to read, alter, or infer another customer's data.
- Circumvent rate limits, plan limits, or Guard's safety gates, including by automating the approval step a human is supposed to perform.
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label PulserNode as your own product without a written agreement.
- Reverse engineer the service except where the law expressly permits it despite a contractual restriction.
4. Automation and fair use
Unlimited AI workflow creation on AI Pro means unlimited normal use by a person or their agent. It does not mean an unattended script generating workflows in a loop, reselling generation capacity, or benchmarking us at volume without asking.
If your legitimate usage is unusual enough that you are wondering whether it counts, email us at hello@pulsernode.com first. We would much rather plan capacity with you than throttle you by surprise.
5. Security research
Good-faith research is welcome. Test only against your own workspace, never against another customer's data, and do not run denial-of-service tests against shared infrastructure.
Report findings to security@pulsernode.com without live keys, tokens, or customer data in the report. We will not pursue action against research that follows this section.
6. What happens if this is breached
Depending on severity we may contact you, rate-limit a workspace, suspend a connection, or terminate an account. Where a breach is not causing active harm, we will tell you what is wrong and give you a chance to fix it before doing anything more drastic.
Where there is active harm, an ongoing attack, or a legal obligation, we may act immediately and explain afterwards.
